soon 1.41 open or experimental beta for ets 2

Hello people I have installed truckers mp at euro truck simulator 2 to play with a dutch friend but soon will be open beta or experimental beta 1.41 that scs has made other multiplayer so my question is would this truckers mp still work with the new multiplayer or should I will remove that soon because I do not want the game to conflict with the new multiplayer I know that truckers mp is a very special thing but otherwise I have no idea.

They are two different things, of course, TMP is a mod, the new Convoy feature is part of the game. You should of course have a separate profile for TMP as it can destroy yor regular profile, and for now you are cautioned to create a similar independent profile if you try Convoy out in Beta. Eventually you will be able to play Convoy from your regular profile you never will want to do that with TMP. In any event, they should never conflict as you would always play them from different profiles..

Lots of discussion on the ATS discussions, it is implemented there in open beta.

The ETS2 version will likely come a bit later simply due to the release of Ibera being so soon and needing patching.

I doubt there would be any reason to delay 1.41 beta while Iberia is being tweaked...the entire game is patched whenever it suits SCS, I just don't see the relationship.

Sigh. Please read the bug reporting thread on the SCS forums for known issues with Ibera. There are a whole host of issues with the content that need patching. Particularly with the new prefabs. SCS have already acknowledged said issues.

Because newly released paid for content takes precedence over free additions. Ibera needs patching now, we dont need MP yet. Ergo, "beta" is later than ATS version because in all probability there will be another Ibera patch before any beta update.

So SCS can not just release the patch during the beta like they did before? Or maybe it is because ATS gets the open betas generally before ETS2?

These are some of the ones I am talking about. There are also known issues with merging prefabs, and AI logic. Plus the new roundabouts do not work as intended, which SCS said they are still working on.

That is not including 1.40 specific bugs also. Such as "dark mirrors" on the Volvos, MP3 & Stralis dashboard "glowing glass", and the dawn/dusk transition bug with dashboards. Plus numerous "performance" issues due to the new lighting in older parts of the map.

And that prevents the experimental open beta in which way? There is nothing that stops SCS to bring the experimental open beta to ETS2 while also fixing bugs.

No. That is a mod so it is not included.

Where did I say it prevents them? That's right, I did not say that. You are putting words in my mouth. Also you stated you have no problems. Fine. Not true for other people, and there are known issues.
