Most of the truck-specific (ie Volvo, Scania, ZF etc) shift patterns in-game don't use the normal Logitech reverse position (push the stick in, then right and down), they have reverse where a normal car gearbox would have 1st (Eaton-Fuller, Scania) or 2nd (Volvo, ZF). The Logitech reverse position is completely un-used (unless you manually set it)

When you can drive forward, you should also be able to reverse when the dashboard / route advisor shows that you are in reverse gear.
I wish I could see both your dashboard and your truck in its surroundings ...
Try disable compressed air brake simulation.
