Abandon Job without Paying?
Anyone know how to abandon a job without paying? There's a special cargo mission in Norway where you have to deliver a chassis, but there's invisible walls that prevent the trailer from passing through to the main road. Hence why I don't want to pay for some crappy glitch xD

Any ideas?

It's literally getting caught on an invisible wall. Not anything to do with mods or user error. It's just a bit annoying how it makes you pay to leave a job if it's not your fault.

If the error is not on your side, is it strange that there are not a lot of other players complaining about the same error?

I myself have completed the Special transport from Bergen to Oslo without experiencing any errors in the game ... But it was also on a vanilla profile!

Remove your defective mods and try again.
Remember: Before removing mods, first sell all parts affected by that mod.

Ah brilliant, I had no idea the game had one. I'll try that later, thanks bud :) Apparently you can properly report bugs through it too so I might do that. Not sure why people find it so hard to believe that a game can have bugs, I've already stated I don't have mods xD

No, you can not that way. You have to report them here: http://forum.scssoft.com

Special Transport jobs are offline by definition so why not just restore from an autosave? That might also enable you to see whether taking a subtly different approach might avoid this 'invisible wall' you refer to (IME those Special Transport trailers with steerable axles can get caught at the rear on the opposite side to the one you think you need to be worrying about - have you taken a trek around the truck in Photo Mode to see if some part of the load has got caught somewhere you didn't expect?)

go to C:\Users\your PC name\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\your ets profile and open config_local.cfg
Now find uset g_force_economy_reset "0" change to "1" save. Start the game and that's all

Yeah I kept reloading the save and it just kept getting stuck randomly. It's next to like a rock and a railing. When it first gets stuck, you can check under, and around and it's not making contact with anything. Not grounded, not getting caught on any objects etc. But then when I try recoupling the trailer to try to clip it through the invisible wall it just throws the trailer into a rock xD
Eventually because I took so long playing around with it it just autosaved when I was stuck, hence why I wanted a way out. I'll try the console when I'm next on.

Regarding the console, take a look at this guide: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=61852

Yes you can do it this way. From SCS forum "By pressing SHIFT+F11 your game will take a screenshot AND save the coordinates in the same folder as the config file (see Fig 1.) that you can then paste into your bug reports using CODE tags" Ahem might want to do some more research as i always see you correcting people when you yourself is wrong. Have a nice day:friedegg:

There are more than 20 different autosaves only 10 of which can be overwritten simply by being stuck in one place. When you click on Load Game there is a 'show autosaves' tick box. Select that and scroll down the list until you find a save before you were stuck or before you took the problem job.

With doing that, yes. But the way it was formulated gave the impression that "you only have to make a screenshot using the console, click on the button and it is reported". Which isn't the case as everyone who does bug reports (including me) knows. You have to manually report them on the SCS forum.

The console worked perfectly, thanks a lot bud! I'm leaving that active in case something else like that happens in the future :)
