Moving music folder from C to D drive
Hey all
Is there an easy way for me to move my music folder from my C drive to my D drive? I think I would need to potentially move my entire ETS2 folder but I'm not sure if the game would be able to see that it has a new location. Could anyone assist?

I have a feeling that I'll have to end up moving my entire ETS2 install from the documents folder on my c drive to my d drive. But let me know what I must do

You can easily have a music folder on a different drive to the one ETS2 is installed on.
Go to here:
C:\Users\username\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\music
then right-click and choose New> shortcut
You point that shortcut to the folder your music is in.
When you use the radio in game, it will list all the music files in that folder, not as albums or artist lists but one long list of individual tracks. My music folder is over 100Gb and it takes a while for ETS2 to access it and list every thing.
If you want a playlist, make a folder for the new shortcut to point to and put whatever you want to listen to in it, you can then copy new music to it and delete stuff you no longer want to hear.

Oh also? I'm moving my entire ets2 folder from documents folder to my D drive, how would the game know where the game files are in this case?

In the windows explorer right click on the documents folder and select "properties". Now a small window should open. Choose the tab with the path, and change the path to whatever path you want on your computer.
