How to reset controls todefault?

So as the title says im trying to reset all controls. Problem is im deleting the controls.sii file (i even tried deleting the config file) but the game controls (or the general settings) do not reset. I'm confused.

I don't think that you need to do it that way. There should be an option to restore the default controlls in the game.

There's a button in the controls menu that says "Reset to defaults".
Have you tried that?

Yes,i just realize. problem is i'm trying to set trackiron to something and it will not work. It works fine in ats, used to work in ets2 too.

You can copy the controls.sii file from a working profile directory in ATS into the non-working profile directory of ETS2, over-writing the file already present. Both games use the same control scheme. ;)

If it works fine in ATS, you could copy your ATS controls from a profile where it works correct to an ETS2 profile where you want it to work.

Thats my problem. I alreadydid that and it does not work properly in ets 2!

To be precise i used to have it so that the interior camera resets to forward potition when i release the right mouse button which does not happen anymore when i use the same trackiron line.
