ProMods Trailer and Company Package
Hi Guys. yes, I'm here with another need for your assistance. I've recently purchased the Promods Update for the Europe and Middle East 2.52. everything is great!! Now I want to purchase, download and install Promods Trailer and Company Package for ETS2 1.40 but, I need assistance with Mod Manager as to which mods to put in, in what order and do I need to remove any mods/DLC's that I already have in mod manager for the game to work without incompatibilities or game crashing. This is what I currently have in game: I presume the truck paint jobs I purchased and the usual trucks and trailers i.e.: Standard trailers, Krone and the Schwarzmuller DLC I purchased will all be OK with them being already in game.
This is what I have in Mod Manager and the order I have them in STARTING at the BOTTOM and working up to the top: BOTTOM is Big Stobart Mod (DLC Subscribed to), next: Stobart Truck Skins (DLC Subscribed to),next: Really Real Company Names (DLC Subscribed to), next: Modern Garage Mod v1.4 (DLC Subscribed to) after these four are the Promods Europe 2.52 Package: Models Package 3, then 2, then 1 above these are Media, Map Definitions and Assets Packages. Finally above these: Middle East Add On Definition and Map package and at the TOP is Middle East Assets Package. as stated ETS2 game runs OK.
Sorry for all this gunk but, I need help in understanding which and where the Truck and Trailer Mods need to be placed in mod manager. I've noticed most people on YouTube have these at the Top. There are 6 in the Truck and Trailer Pack but, which to add in Mod Manager? the 6 are: Company Definition, Company Package, Main Trailer Definitions, Trailer Package and these two: Stand Alone Trailer Definitions and Replacement Trailer Definitions.
What is the difference in these two and as stated, which could I add to Mod Manager and in what Sequence and would I need to remove any of the DLC's within Mod Manager for all to work fine. Thanks Guys, sorry for this long Essay?!!! Your help is really appreciated.

I don't think you need to remove any mods and, or dlcs, just put it at the bottom of the load order. I am not an expert, but this works for me.

2.52 is not compatable with Iberia. so might be best to wait till 2.53 which wont come out till after iberia has been released.
But before u can use 2.52 u will have to remove the old version then add in the new version.

OK Trailer Packages.
There are two as you have stated.
Standalone Trailers - This keeps existing game trailers and adds the ProMods ones. (I choose this).
Replacement Trailers - This replaces the existing game trailers with the ProMods ones.

Please remove old version before adding new version from both Mod Manager and from the mod folder.

Your mods would be normally above ProMods, but sometimes they have to be afterwards because of a clash. I cannot say which for your mods but I would try above first.

Order of ProMods in Mod Manager (from Top to Bottom)
ProMods Trailer and Company Pack (Company Definition)
ProMods Trailer and Company Pack (Main Trailer Definition)
ProMods Trailer and Company Pack (Standalone Trailer Definition)
ProMods Trailer and Company Pack (Trailer Package)
ProMods Trailer and Company Pack (Company Package)
ProMods Middle-East Add-on (Def & Map Package)
ProMods Middle-East Add-on (Assets Package)
ProMods Definition Package
ProMods Map Package
ProMods Models Package 1
ProMods Models Package 2
ProMods Models Package 3
ProMods Media Package
ProMods Assets Package

I hope that helps.

Hi Crazy Rocker. Appreciate your reply. I do know that Iberia is not compatible with ProMods 2.52 but, as ProMods state, the game still works. I originally had 2.51 for just about a month till SCS updated ETS2 to 1.40 from 1.39 which unfortunately, I couldn't use and had to remove from mod manager and folder. At least it doesn't cost a lot for each update in ProMods. I do realise at some point, ProMods will update to 2.53 but, for the cost I don't mind. Thanks again.

Hi SecretOne. Thanks for this great reply. I just didn't know what order to put all in, in Mod Manager, this certainly helps a lot. may I just state that, I don't have any Mods is Mod Manager or in the Mod Folder within ETS2, the only Mods in Mod Manager and the Mod Folder are the ProMods Europe and Middle East as I stated. The other stuff within Mod Manager (Not in the Mod Folder) are subscribed to from the DLC's. These are the ones I am not sure whether I need to remove them from Mod Manager. Those being the bottom 4 in the Mod Manager list, Big Stobart Mod DLC, Stobart Truck Skins DLC, Really Real Company Names DLC and Modern Garage Mod v1.4 DLC. I didn't know if this sort of stuff maybe already in the ProMods Trucks and Trailers? I will put the Mods in the order you have stated, I did think they would possibly be in this sort of order. Just one other thing, I am not sure what you mean by: "Please remove old version before adding new version from both Mod Manager and from the mod folder." If you mean ProMods 2.51, yes I have already done this before I downloaded and installed into Mod Folder etc ProMods 2.52.
I have been playing the game in 2.52 and Middle East with, the DLC's still in Mod Manager at the moment. It was mainly knowing how to put the Mods in the order required to run the game without any hitch. Do you think I will be OK leaving the DLC's or remove from Mod Manager, maybe leaving the Modern Garage DLC as this updates the garages to a better version, though I'm not entirely sure. Thanks again, for your assistance.

@boothy1876

The easiest thing to do it try it. Personally I would move the other mods to the top of the list above ProMods.

A note.
DLCs do not appear in the Mod Manager they are core parts of the game and are handled by Steam.

Mods appear in the Mod Manager. These mods can come from the Workshop and are not kept in the "mod" folder.
Mods such as ProMods are put into the "mod" folder and then appear in the Mod Manager.

As long as the mods you are using are definitely for version 1.40 they should be OK with ProMods.

I personally would not use Real Company Names as they are also done with in ProMods.
It is this type of thing that can cause clashes because both are trying to do the same thing.

Hi SecretOne. Thanks again, yes, I was considering taking Real Company Names off. I did see on YouTube there were different companies on trailers and Eddie Stobart. I am actually thinking of taking all the DLC's off except the Big Garages which I can't really see a problem with as these update the existing large garages within the game when you purchase any.? I will try the Big garages at the Top of the list and see how I go with it?
Appreciate once more your kind assistance.

Hi Ravisubramanian. As far as I am aware, if you are considering ProMods Maps, you will need to already have the maps such as Italy, France, East, Baltic Sea etc on Eurotruck 2 otherwise the ProMod Maps will NOT work. if you go on YouTube as I did it will help you to decide. You do have to Register with ProMods (unless you already have) which is simple enough and once done you can get your downloads. Just a couple of pointers: ProMods (I Think) does tell you, you need the particular maps for theirs to work within the game. Type in ProMods in your search engine and scroll down to Promods Index Page, this will take you to the website for Registering and downloads etc. Finally: If you do go for the ProMod Maps (Europe 2.52) and maybe Middle East, there are 2 downloads (1 is fast and you pay about 1 Euro, the other download is FREE) but, you will need to download each file in this free download, ONE at a time which takes (I believe) ages and there are 7 or 8?
If its only the Company Trucks and Trailers Mods you want, I don't see a problem but, you may still need the updated ETS2 1.40 for the mods to work within Mod Manager. pro Mods downloads are all (as far as I am aware) .Zip files so you will need 7z zip file manager OR I think WinRar works too?
Sorry I can't be of any further assistance, Hope this helps!
