I played this game for a while with default linux deadzone of 1000, after tweaking it to 2 and maxing out steering non-linearity it seems that you can even do micrometer precision turns easily. Writing this here not for responses. But this was pretty new discovery for me today. Seems like even cheapest and most ancient wheels can be fine tuned...
