Max number of trailers per garage, trailers to buy
Is there a maximum number of trailers you can store in a single garage, like you do for trucks? I know that I can only store three trucks per small garages, and five for large. Does that limit also apply for trailers, or can I store more than that in a single garage?

Also, what are some trailers that are worth purchasing for cargo market runs? I already have a reefer out of my Helsinki garage that I use for vaccine/med equipment/perishable cargo orders, and a curtainsider out of my Muenchen garage that my hired driver uses. I intend to purchase extra trailers (provided I have enough Euros to cover it, as I don't take loans), and I was wondering which types of trailers (including Krone and Schwarzmueller DLC) I should purchase, from a profitability perspective. And also, what about articulated trailers (HCT or doubles), are they worth it, and if so, which types, and which cities/countries should I assign them to (I can always purchase garages in such cities if necessary)?

I found no limit for Trailers yet. And which Trailer is best is very different. I startet to place a few low bed and a few coolers as well as one Trailer of each of the other types in each Garage. After a while I took a look which Trailers are used most in that garages and dropped more of that type. Depending on the locations of the garages some Trailers get never used in one location and most used in others.

There is as far as I know no limit to how many trailers you can have in a garage.

The most versatile trailer type is flatbed with pins, as it can take both tanks with liquid content and regular containers.

Double trailers can only be placed and used in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
The very large HTC trailers can only be placed and used in Finland.

Regarding whether it pays to buy trailers?
It's a question of purpose?

Even if you earn a little more on a trip with your own trailer rather than the same trip with a borrowed trailer, you must remember that with your own trailer you have to pay for its maintenance and repair of traffic damage.
Even if you never get traffic damage to your trailers, it still takes a very long time until the trailer's purchase price is earned back ... and only then does it make a real extra profit.

If you feel it is more realistic to drive with your own trailers, it can always pay to have your own trailers.

For some achivements, it can be an advantage to have several different own trailers to choose from, as it sometimes happens that the freight market for own trailers offers some routes that do not exist correspondingly for borrowed trailers.

The company supplied trailer is the best option, that is don't buy trailers in order to make more money.

If you upgrade your garage to LEVEL 5 more trailers will be purchased in a single garage.

Iveco, you are just plain wrong.

A base level garage can house an infinite number of trailers.
