South Asia when???
Is there any possibility of official south asian map(afganistan, pakistan, india, bangladesh, nepal, vutan, srilanka) in near or distant future?

I think that not before finish at least entire europe. In all ways this is not "asian truck". but you can find some of this countries in promods.

Yeah, i know that. And the name asian truck simulator popped up in my mind too. Actually here in south asia huge playe base of this game exists. If developers want it they can do it and at the end the game woul be like "eurasian truck simulator", imagine of that huge map including china to Indonesia, afganistan to vietnam :steammocking:

Yes a very huge map, but i think that scs dont have this on mind now. Sorry You always can use map mods. Check promods, it give a lot of roads and cities to the official map, but you need all maps dlcs to use it.

Errrr game is called "Euro truck simulator 2"
While I personally would love to have abbility to go all over world and Asia and Africa and Australia.
My wild guess would be, especially since they released "American truck simulator" that they would release one for every continent. Though in my opinion best thing (though probably technically hardest) but loads of fans would love it. Would be to merge Euro truck simulator 2 and American truck simulator in one game and simply start adding other country from other continents of the world. Asian, African Australian and all others....
Simply to make "World truck simulator" While it seems like far fantasy I think that would be best option for SCS but I am not too optimistic in them making it reality.

Yes, and that's because we in ETS2 drive in the truck brands are built and used in Europe: DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes, Renault, Scania and Volvo.

Similarly, with ATS, you drive trucks that are built and used in America

This makes no sense to me whatsoever. There is no land connection between the two and no lorry traffic via ferry. I could accept the idea of expanding ETS2 into Asia once the European map is complete, and ATS into Canada and/or Central and Southern America, but in both cases they still have many years of work ahead of them to complete the geographical areas implied by their names (absent any debate over exactly what American means and whether the names refer only to the trucks not the geography).

Considering the game is focused on Europe, no. The only non-european places I can see getting added are Turkey and the bits of North-Africa that are on the map at the moment.

I agree with you 1000% we do not need maps of Asian countries in game called EUROPE truck simulator2.
BUT If I would to go nitpicky arent Russia and Turkey partially in Europe and in Asia. While I am really happy that we would got both of them (and I would love to get my country Serbia in it too) but SCS already is working on ATS and ETS2 mine only guess after they do maps for all Europian and American countries that they would make Asian / African / Australian / Antartican truck simulators.... now in which order would they (and if) would show up.... that is up on SCS
