Russia map

I haven't played for a long time and I just saw the upcoming Russia DLC. Please tell me the map is literally gonna be the entire Russia or somewhat really F word big or just a few cities

some bits of russia is already in the game under beyond the Baltic. Heart of Russia is just going to add more bits but not all of it. most likely only as far as the Ural mountains which is where Europe and Asia join. But most likley it will be as far as Moscow and around that area and probably wont be the southern part down to the caucuses as that will need Ukraine and Belarus DLC or it will be a very long trip to go round them via the baltic states.

does that mean i have to buy other DLC in order to access to heart of Russia?

To be able to drive there from base map? Yes. To be able to access it? No. Every DLC area has at least one city automatically discovered so that you can do quick jobs. Or you can purchase a garage remotely and Fast Travel to it.

i would say that for the longest drivable distance in the game you will need at last going east and the baltic sea expansions because then you can drive from Istanbul to Aberdeen which i think is probably the longest drivable distance using the least number of DLC expansions.

Istanbul is in Turkey, way south. You need the black sea DLC for that.

I believe that Faro in Portugal to Vyborg in Russia is currently the longest possible journey, for which you'd need Iberia, France, Going East and Baltic Sea DLCs
