How to backup a profile?

Hello, I am gonna reinstall my windows soon and I want to keep my game profile and data, where can I find it and how do I backup it?

Copy the entire folder ETS 2 from your documents folder, then you are good to go. If the profiles arent on steam cloud. If so, click edit profile in start menu and untick cloud save. You might need to start the game after doing that and save from ingame.

I would buy a thumb drive (even if you use cloud) and copy entire ETS folder on to it.
When you have reinstalled game, just copy back from thumb drive to documents folder.
I do regular backups of game to thumb drive overwriting/replacing existing files then you have a fail safe to go to when things go tits up, and they do in all manner of ways.

What I'm saying is that if something happens to your game and you lose your profile you have a copy to restore from.
This is why I back up profile almost daily, depending on mileage driven, and do a quicksave every 10-15 mins ingame having learnt from game crashing in past and losing all/any progress.
