Volvo FH16 Classic Sleeper Nerfed?
Hi everyone, I'm new to ETS2 and was reading some Starter Guides. They Recommend the Volvo FH16 Classic Sleeper with 540hp engine.
My Issue is that I can't find it anywhere, the only FH16 Classic Sleeper I can buy is only 420HP and it cost way more than 90/100k also.

Is the FH16 540hp no longer available?

As you earn more points in your Driver Skill Level the more powerful engines will unlock for you to buy.

The guides will now be quite old. Changes in the game made a lower spec engine the first model available. pricing was also changed as a lot of players went straight for the 540 HP Volvo, which was overshadowing other brands and models of truck. It is probably more realistic now.

The 540 Volvo is still available, but I believe it is now on a higher level, so keep working, levelling up your XP (experience) and you will get there is reasonable time. :104:

Hi, yeah I know that, but in every guide I read, they said 540hp was the Starter/Base model

As level 2 you can buy a 460 hp Volvo
When you are level 6 you can replace the 460 hp engine with a 500 hp engine
540 hp requires level 11 for FH classic while FH (New gene) first can 540 hp at level 12
And so on...

Yep, they nerfed this one a while back. The Volvo FH Classic is still one of the best starter trucks as 420hp is still more than you'll get from the other manufacturers for similar money.
