Add more features to make game more realistic?
I was playing ETS2 the other day & thought it would be nice to have a feature where we could actually have interiors we could visit at truck stops when we fill up our tanks & rest up for food sleep etc, now wouldn't that be great? They already added the walk feature when customising our trucks right, we can actually walk around & admire our customised trucks, it was just a thought i had couple days ago. Also i would like to see the clutch creep feature in this game. In real life, you can use the clutch to creep forwards or backwards, sadly this isn't implemented in the game which i thought was odd, since it has simulator in the games title. Also another thing that i thought about for a while was there are no parked vehicles in the game at all, which is unrealistic, in real life, theres always parked vehicles in cities everywhere, so to me this breaks some of the immersion, since its supposed to be a proper simulator, i'd like to see parked vehicles, plus the clutch creep feature implemented in the game. This would make the game even more immersive for me & more realistic. The truck stop bonus feature isn't really necessary, but it'd be nice to have this feature in future updates.

This is a driving simulator, not a walking around in stores simulator, so not so much.
You might "clutch creep" in a car, but in a truck the clutch is pretty much always in or out, it is not slipped.

The location for suggestions is on the wishlist thread at the SCS Forums:

https://forum.scssoft.com
https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=272590#p272590

Posting on here will not bring anything to the attention of the devs, this is simply a player to player forum, SCS do not monitor it, or reply to any posts very often. You might find that most things have been suggested before, with varying results. SCS have their own plans for ETS2 and ATS, and we don't always know what they are.

No, if I'll be hungry, it does not help me to eat virtual food, etc.
But there are already built-in rest areas in the game, and when you hold on to them you can just pause the game, possibly save and close the game while you irl do such irl things as shopping, eating, etc.
- Just remember that if you take such an irl break while you are doing a WoT job, the delivery time continues to count down while you take a break, even if you may. has turned off your computer.

Can you not do that if you have a pedal set?
- I do have pedals, but I always use real automatic transmission, so I do not have any experience at that point.

Are we playing the same game?
I then see lots of parked cars around the cities, also at gas stations and rest areas.

For future communication:
Can I persuade you to split your posts in the future with a line break in appropriate places?

It will make your postings much more readable as my eyes can easily get lost in such a large chunk of text without interruptions.
- and it will also make it easier to answer individual points if there are several different things to answer as in this case.

I agree to add new things that improve the simulation.

just put on/off option to satisfy those who complain about new things and who like new things

Or concentrate on improving the core game (trucks, maps, weather, perhaps even add things like brakes or engines getting hot etc etc) and don't spend time adding unreal or cosmetic "features" for people to have to turn off :lunar2019smilingpig:

This. Would love to see some kind of maintenance neede on the trucks in the game, with wear on suspension, brakes and tires, needing oil and filter changes, etc.

There is, or had you not noticed? :steamfacepalm:
You will have to go to a service garage and fix your truck if you keep driving it.
The yellow truck symbol in the adviser will turn red from the wheels up as the truck degrades. Eventually the engine will start to fail and stop running, you'll get lots of warnings to fix the engine and all the other faults, or you will not be able to carry on driving. :steamsad:
Why do you think there are all those service garages and service bays at truck dealers?
Do you drive round with your eyes closed? :steammocking:

No need to be a condescending ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I do mostly quick jobs giving the trucks i buy to my drivers. I didn't know they wear out as you drive. The quick job ones don't.

No, because you get a new one every time, all fuelled up and ready to go. If you play the game as an owner driver with a fleet of trucks, you get to do a lot of visits to the service garages. No condescension, just staggered that question was even formed, never mind asked.:steamfacepalm:

Also when your tires get worn (I always run mine to 85% worn before replacing them) they do not affect the engine or transmission as some say, but in the rain you really need to start slowing down a lot sooner, it can get quite nasty :steamlaughcry:

As i said, i didn't know. I thought that indicator is for truck damage alone. Even if i don't appreciate the way you said it, thanks for letting me know.
