In my opinion, you must save more and get a good wheel, there are a lott of difference bettween a good wheel and a cheap wheel.... Wait deals(black friday or something like that), and try to get at least thrusmaster t150 or logitech g29. In my opinion are the better in relation quality/price

What he says.

I did as many others suggested here, used my Xbox360 controller until I saved enough for a g29. Best decision ever. With the controller you will be able to enjoy the game until ready for a proper wheel set.

Just double your target price and shop carefully, you'll probably find something

The cheapest good steering wheel is the G29 or T150. Very cheap steering wheels can ruin the steering experience. Spend $ 250-300 and trust me you won't wish it.

Honestly, don't even buy a controller (if you don't have one already). Steering with mouse is really good, maybe even better than w/ a controller. The only bad thing is you don't have throttle control (that mouse w/ throttle control option ets2 gives you is just garbage, so don't use that).
Just set your throttle to RMB and brake to LMB, blinkers to additional mouse buttons if you have those and the rest to somewhere on the keyboard and you're set.
