How do i buy truck upgrades?

Sorry if this is a noob question but how do i do this? i click on the "Truck Upgrades" i see parts that i can buy, i have the money for it, but the "Set GPS to Nearest Shop" option is grayed out and i don't know what to do. I just started playing today.

You need to find either a dealership or own a garage to do it.

You can't upgrade a quick-job truck. You must own the truck.

ah yeah that was the issue i thought the initial truck was mine but no i had to buy my first one then it worked lol thank you

I have that DLC and i do plan on checking those jobs out but first i need to get the hang of realistic driving as ive played many games where you drive vehicle but nothing like this, it is for sure interesting and fun but needa get used to it
