Are you devastated that you can no longer fast travel to generate fat stacks of EuroTruck Bux without faffing around with mods, save editing, and virus-ridden cheat programs?
Do you wish there was a similar method to generate simply stupendous sacks of digital money?

Well, I am here to tell you that, despite the loss of our garage-based fast-travel exploit, there's actually a different method of fast-travel that still causes time to pass in the game!
What method, you ask?
Why, the Ferry of course!

Indeed! Using the Ferry (or train) to travel causes a visible uptick in that ever-so-empty display that all we casual truckers look at with despair. No more destitution my friends, rejoice!

WARNING: Ferry timeskips are only profitable when combined with at least one (1) hired driver, which itself must generate more profit than the cost of the ferry being ridden. Two (2) to three (3) hired drivers are recommended. VortaexLTD is not responsible for any losses incurred via reckless/recreational Ferry use not supported by a profitable hired driver logistics network.

So far, the most effective route I've found to generate money is travelling from Travemunde to Helsinki and back again (29 hour skip each way), though this requires some DLCs. Sleeping in rest spots will also result in income influx (for free) , though this is much less effective since you can only sleep when your driver is tired.

Travel by ferry -> earn money (+ location suggestion)

Uh... you spend a little money on it so you need at least 1-2 hired drivers before you can use this 'exploit'? That was also the case with the garage fast-travel.
Oh, is it that eventually you'll hit "Driver Critical Mass" where one trip can pay for more and more fully-equipped garages until ETS2 becomes a "clicker" game?

It's indeed the need to have hired drivers that generate more income than your costs.
This may seem obvious for experienced players, but if a new player reads that and doesn't know/realize that he/she needs drivers it can cause issues to his/her finances.

You can try to be funny about it, but when you're making a tutorial, at least make it complete.

Alternatively you could just use g_set_time... I mean sure it does require that 10 second config file edit to enable the dev console but it's free.

But this is supposed to be an exploit/strategy - using the dev console would be straight-up cheating.
