Volvo FH/FH16 differences and where to buy?

Hi, I'm looking to purchase the Volvo FH16 (It's mentioned a lot and comes recommended) and I'm having some trouble finding it in-game. I've searched online and there seem to be some conflicting answers and wanted to check.

Are the FH and FH16 different trucks? I see sometimes it's mentioned that the Volvo FH is actually the FH16. When I visit the Volvo dealership, the trucks come with a "FH" badge on the windscreen though, but I've seen some trucks with a "FH16" badge. Also it's supposed to come with a 540HP Engine, but both the FH Classic Sleeper and FH Sleeper come with a 420HP Engine.

If they are different, when does it become available? I have unlocked both the London and Luxembourg dealerships, but they both only offer the FH Classic Sleeper and FH Sleeper. Is it level bound at all? (I'm level 11)

Yes, Volvo FH16 (new gen) and Volvo FH 16 classic are 2 different models from Volvo.
But I want to give you the right that it is a bit confusing that they both have the basic designation FH16 ... But you also see many similar cases in the car industry, where many models over the years have undergone major changes, and still have retained their basic type names .

Both FH and FH classic as standard basic model (4x2 with 420 hp) only require that you are level 1 (and have enough money)

FH classic globetrotter (6x2 with 460 hp) requires level 8

FH globetrotter (6x2 / 4 with 500 hp) requires level 10

When you are level 11 you can upgrade the FH classic with a 540 hp euro 5 engine.
- FH (new gen) requires level 12 before you can upgrade it with a 540 hp euro 5 engine

All truck models in the game can be upgraded with 6x4 chassis when you are level 14

When you become level 16 you get the right to upgrade FH with 8x4 Chassis

At level 18 you unlock:
600 hp Euro 5 engine for FH classic
FH globetrotter XL 8x4 with 600 hp

Level 20 unlocks 700 hp Euro 5 for FH classic
- Unfortunately I do not know the level requirements for a similar engine for FH (maybe others can help here?)

Level 25 unlocks 750 hp Euro 5 for the FH Classic

The difference between the FH and FH16 is the engine size, There are two versions of FH, version 3 (classic) and version 4 (current) represented in game, when fitted with the 13ltr D13 engines (460hp to 540hp) they are badged as FH, with the D16 16ltr engines (540hp to 750hp) they are badged as FH16.

Has anyone experienced the disappearance of their Volvo FH16 trucks from their Garages in ATS? For some reason the Mod had disappeared and i have a bunch of drivers sitting idle with no assigned trucks. I checked the ETS2 game and all my Volvo trucks are intact. I'm not a computer guru so I'm stumped on this one. Can anyone provide me with a fix, please. Thanks in advance.

SCS has decided to no longer allow mods in the Workshop that take licensed content from one game and introduce it into the other.
