ProMods question

Is Promods still the best/recommended map?Haven't played in ages.

Each to his her own, but i really like what Promods adds to the game, they have improved a lot over the years as well (dunno when you last played)
I don't recall any crashes or invisible walls in recent times etc.

I Almost always combine it with at least Rusmap, there are of course many options for other map mods, but those 2 are the ones i always try to use.

You can have a nice combo if you add Roex to it which fills up some empty space.

tbh, beyond that i'm not sure which maps are up to date that connect to those 3 to go beyond, i think Southern Region is still up to date.

There are also many small addon maps, that also may work on the SCS map without Promods, but not sure.

Haven't played since I think France dlc so quite a while!
So you recommend promods+rusmap?Could you tell me where's the best place to download rusmap?And what's Roex?

promods adds a great deal to the base map. i'd say it was a must have. although you can download it free i always take the one euro, one file download to support them. brilliant value

Just for info, i have Promods (with middle east addon) Rusmap, Poland rebuild, Project Balkans and Southern region maps and all seem to work perfectly together, Malc.

Gotcha!One last question, I see most mods seem to be downloaded from sharemods, and I've read somewhere that it's not exactly safe in terms of malware...Is that true?

The malware comes from the ad banners. Make sure you've got a good ad-blocker installed on your browser and along with your AV package you should be fine.

I'm using Ublock Origin+Bitdefender, should be fine I guess.

You also need all of the map DLCs from SCS to be able use ProMods (except Iberia I think).
