Auto creep
I've switched to using real automatic transmission and noticed when in drive the truck dosen't creep forward when you foot is not on the brake, driven a few auto cars and you have to keep your foot on the brake when stopped in drive, should it be the same with trucks?...don't know much about trucks

You may want to do some googling to check if I'm right here, but I think it depends on the type of automatic. Most truck auto boxes are not traditional automatics, i.e they don't have a torque converter. Most are actually automated manuals, with a normal clutch and physical connection to the wheels. In Scania automatics, for instance, you still have to use a clutch pedal to shift into first. Allison automatics, on the other hand, do have torque converters and function as any other automatic. I could be wrong, but from what I've heard, it's these torque converters that cause the "creeping," as other automatics have cluches. I was recently driving a truck with an Allison in this game and it did creep. Most, if not all, six speed transmissions in the game are Allisons.

Pull the Trailer Brake on doing "stop and go's" YEP...this is how its done in the real world...KINDA HARD to push on the foot brake...hold the clutch down..and stomp on the GO GO pedal at the same time? Holding the Trailer brake on.. to stop a truck from rolling (on hills to.waiting for a light to change) is how its done.

In my time as a trucker...we USE to have Twin Gear shift Sticks...things got COMPLICATED when the Stop Lights were on Hills...and you had TWO trailers "A" train, behind ya..AND. some Jackass driving a car seems in love with the Icc bar on the back trailer. (Less than a FOOT from the Bumper).."dont let it slide back...or your gonna be PULLINg three trailers up the hill!"...I used to tell my Rookie Drivers from the Passenger JUMP Seat.... (hahahaha...

There's also the additional weight requiring more power to move a truck. Likewise, a diesel freight train without any cars before it creeps just fine at very low throttle. Add a quarter kilometer worth of cars behind it and it'll take some more throttle to move.

At least a Freight Train dont have 4 wheelers trying to hitch a ride on the ICC bar on a hill? :steamfacepalm:
