I can par regular trailers wherever you want me but i am not sure if i am able to back up a double. So far there was no need to park it backwards but im sure i would struggle with it too

" they never reverse, no sharp manoeuvers "
Suddenly your blanket statement is limited to the EU-countries ? It was wrong nonetheless.
PS: the first video is from ETS2, it cannot not be from an European country.
You have to look to the end, there you see a driver from scandinavia who puts the combinatie Backwards, and there ar more driver in the Eu Countries that no this.
...........posted in ETS2 section, attached a ETS 2 screenshot in the OP. Are you now saying there was no way for you to assume I was referring to ETS or European countries?
You instantly assumed they NEVER back up or make sharp turns, kinda illogical way to think from your side. What would be a purpose of a vehicle like this only going forward in a straight line...........
ETS video shows no trailer parked left or right of the bay, so it gives you more room. In OP`s bay, you have no room on the right side due to other trailers being parked there. He could swing it around, but straightening up would be tricky.
As of the video from Zeeuwse, you can see he can back it up due to the depot being large enough. Plus, he is using a combination with dolly and a semi trailer, which is a bit easier to back up that a B-double or SCS double.

watch the vid take it in and take it slow.....practice practice practice
You have the perfect platform to do it now with ETS...
You can do it :)

I have never in rl driven one of these B+A units and only just started with them in ETS, so backing one up is a learning curve for me.. made a total mess of it but things can only get better with practice..

Happy trucking ppl :)
The trick to backing up a "B" train is in SMALL increments in turning the wheel...when that B Traler (ok...firstly I mentioned B trailer...old dogs that "DRAGGED" this stuff over Hll and Dale called the LEAD trailer the "A:"Trailer...and the back Trailer the "B:" Trailer to simply things in communciation)
NOW..the A trailer will turn in OPPOSITE directions the Steering wheel turns...and the B trailer Goes the same direction as the steering wheel
Get it?
NOW.....considring this...you cannot make the B trailer respond to Reversing the directions...like a Single trailer..so..to get around this problem...SMALL INCREMENTS in the direciton the B trailer is going will back the WHOLE SET into any SPOT!
DO NOT try to correct the direction of the B trailer if it goes to far into it turn....PULL Forward...and try again wilh smaller increments in turning the steering wheel.
PATIENCE..is what it took, and MOST likely the reason why Super B Trailers in Canada are given to the OLDER driver to PULL in the real world...YOUNG PEOPLE have sadly little patience..that time will eventually give to them....
HOPE this is a good explanation?
Thank you all for the information but I think what would be more helpful is somebody with me that knows how to park a double in ETS 2. or atleast a training video with information on how to do so
1: when reversing the steering wheel inputs are reversed.. left swings the nose right, right swings the nose left
2: Odd number of coupling pivots (1 & 3 HCT's and truck and rigid drawbar units) reversing to make the trailer go left swng the nose left and vise versa
3: Even number of couple pivots (B-Doubles and truck Dolly trailer combinations) to go left.. swing nose right and vise versa
Make all moves planned, deliberate and small or you will just end up chasing your trailers
SCS has a unhealthy steering axle fettish that they need to address and that is they have left out the ability to lock the axles for reversing.
And that reminds me. Can't wait for the truck physics improvements on the next update
