Trojan in Euro Truck Simulator 2 maybe.
I tested eurotrucks2.exe both 32bit and 64bit on virustotal.com. Software on Virustotal what reported both .exe files is Gridinsoft. That software reported both files to name Trojan.Heur!.00054023. Also only 64bit was reported by Jiangmin and it sayed this file is Trojan.Injects.jz.

Maybe you are using a pirated (aka. cracked) copy of the game?
Because that shouldn't be of a surprise then.

No im not using pirated copy. Its from Steam.

Pretty much what Ryu said. A quick search for tests showed that GridinSoft fails pretty terribly.

By the way those files are located on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\.

I want to be sure of that so please can you check you own ETS2 files on virustotal.com so i can be sure that some application on my pc is not infected my EuroTurckSim2. Thanks

dang that must mean mine is pirated as well when confirming OP's concern with VT.

Virus scanners can always detect false positives.

The "Heur" i.e. is for "heuristic".
This is a method used by virus scanner to detect so far undiscoverd viuses that use similar patterns as know viruses. So it's not even a know virus that this software detected, it is just guessing there could be one.

On this page you will also see a huuuge list of scanner that did not find a thing with some very prominent ones like F-Secure, McAffee and Kaspersky, just to name a few.

So I assume Girdinsoft and Jiangmin are just wrong in that case. :)

Was a legit question at the time. We had a few recently with pirated copies here.

There is no problem with the game at all. The only problem is that crappy antivirus that is failing pretty hard. Also others say that all is good.

I got the same result as you. These 2 you named.
ATS only has one.

And my TESV.exe (Skyrim) has something detectd by Zillya... ;)

You should be OK. No Virus. :)

If there is just 1 or 2 of these scanners detecting something you can be pretty shure it is a false positive.
