What is the best truck with GPS and speed info display?
What is the best truck with GPS included that displays the speed I am running? I am a new to ETS - two incomplete weeks - and I am accumulating money and experience (I have almost 500,000 euros and arriving at experience 18) to get really nice truck and trailer but I want a truck that has GPS included and that displays speed clearly. So far, I am inclined to buy a Mercedes-Benz New Actros. I haven't traveled with it yet but I saw one of it in a video and it's close to what I want and I can still have one with a 625 hp engine when I get to level 20. Is it a good truck considering what I want or is there a better option? Unfortunately, the truck store does not allow us to start a truck in order to see it operating and find out what kind of information it carries.

If you have not found YOUR truck by doing quick jobs so far, you always can make a savegame, buy and try and if you don't like it just re-load the saved game and try another.

Dashboartd-wise I really like the newer Volvo.

The hp basically has no meaning in game. It is just text.
What counts is the Nm value (torque), and of course the transmission and the chassis.

Engines from aournd 2300 or 2500 Nm and up are really strong I would say.
They can pull regular cargo with ease (already overpowered maybe) and can do all the heavy stuff as well.

Of yourse the 750 hp Volvo or the 730hp Scania are stronger.
But there is no real need for it and I personally find it even more entertaining to play with a more "regular" engine.
I hauled the Vossloh across whole Europe with my DAF serveral times and it was great.
Even with the DAF 95 (mod) with around 1800 Nm I was able to pull it across the alps.
I was a bit slow sometimes maybe, ... haha... but I made it in time :)
