I get the above message on the loading screen that i get after clicking continue from the profile screen and then it just hangs and will not load in.

The orange bar on the loading screen gets so far(nearly to the end) then it just stays there and i have to literally hold the power button on my pc down until it shuts off. Not even alt+ctrl+del works...

I've been thru over the last few days getting rid of rubbishy mods and also made sure the ones i did have were up to date/latest version.

Checked the game log and there are no new warnings or errors this time round compared to last time i checked...

Any ideas?

Verify your files. You can do this by doing a right-click on the game in your Steam Library and going to "Properties". There you go to "Local files" and there should be the option to verify your files.

If there wasn't any problem found please also post your game.crash file to pastebin and provide the link to it here.

Just wanting to add: Anything else you noticed when this happens? Is your PC getting hot? Do you get any error message? Does this problem happen also when you use something else?

PC is not hot as this happens straight after start up, just gets to that loading point music goes funny then the PC will restart

Where do you find the game.crash file??

It should be in your ETS2 folder in your documents. If there is no game.crash file it means that the game didn't cause the crash and that means that something else causes your OS to restart.

Ok so why when i have removed the DLC's the game works but when i try and install the Italia onwards the game doesn't load

Don't know. I'm not having that problem on my end.

I reset my PC, reinstalled steam etc and now it is working correctly, so must of been a corrupt file or something somewhere, cheers for your help
