Why do garages cost so much?
I am not very interested in hiring drivers and managing them but it seems I will be forced to do it because I could never afford to buy garages without the extra income.

At 180 000 EUR per garage, even if I pick a single fast travel point in each country, this is still a TON of money.

And even with my own truck, 400 km jobs still give me measly amounts like 12 to 15 thousand.

Is there something hidden I don't see or don't know about the game or is it really just balanced this way?

there are some jobs that give over 200k eur , might be hard to get some garages at the beggining but later you will be grinding them like hell , so i really think its fine the way it is

I have two points invested in long distance jobs, one point in each of the other skills as well.

I'm doing ridiculously low amounts of cash per run, even at ~500km.

What would you say is the fastest way to make some money and get the ball rolling at the beginning?

And that's what's your problem right now. :)
As you gain higher skills in the various educations over time, you will get better pay for your jobs, especially for very long trips.
- The same goes for your employees

i installed a mod from Steam Workshop its called ''DOUBLE your Euro!'' or something and driving like 325 km gives me like 40 Thousand(i also installed a mod witch includes double trailer).
anyways i like those mods, maybe you like them too, and i got to say.. those mods work great on my macbook pro! you can try them

Will those mods disable achievements?
Rubi Nov 18, 2020 @ 11:48am
i don't really know, i've got like 13 achievements but i think i got all of them before i installed those mods, but i don't think it disables cause when i visit a french city i still get something like ''Bone Voiaje!'' or something(achievement visit all french cities). so the answer is no

Even without employees, soon, your problem will be what to do with the insane amount of money you will have, In my main profile I have 1 Large garage in every single city available (all DLC), only 1 employee per garage, one of every single vanilla trucks for my personal use, and still 1.5 billions Euro in my acc. (billions as in 1000 millions). All of that in about 1000 hours playtime, no Mods.

Be pacient, keep trucking :summer2019vehiclepig: :summer2019flag:

It is a bit of a grind in the beginning but just continue leveling up and getting skill points and soon you will have access to longer deliveries and better paying cargos.
