Otherwise, go to any mod site and look for AI mods.
This one comes to mind www.ets2mods.lt
Random events is only on ats currently. No word if it will make its way over to ETS2
A traffic mod cleverly done could increase the traffic at specific times of the day to the point of creating traffic jam near big cities. Or using the console with g_traffic @ 1.5 may do the trick.
uset g_traffic “X” where X is from 1-10. replace existing with higher number then save.
This is the best way to increase traffic without any mod.
1 is the lowest value and the traffic is very sparse.
10 is the maximum and this is the way to get traffic jams.
0 is the lowest value; anything between 0 and 1 decrease the traffic; anything above 1 increase it.
Same setting at ATS but with Random Eventes maxed.

AI are morons, that´s why I don´t max out AI traffic. Idiots can´t even merge properly.
Ohh, I see it now ... you're about to play roundabout roulette with the AI in the UK.
I once had a long journey when I had to enter a roundabout in Newcastle, UK. I looked carefully to make sure no traffic was present. Then when there was a huge break in traffic I went for it. You can be very careful and still these AI imbeciles show up all of a sudden. Sure enough, some idiot in a car hits the back of my trailer. There went my perfect delivery out of the window, I got damage to the trailer and the stupid crash ticket for something that wasn't my fault in the first place!
The AI is particularly annoying at UK roundabouts.
Well, you do want the game to be realistic, don't you?
