Licencing! As long as SCS has no licence and the manufacturer has not approved every model there won't be any new truck.

Dear Wolfgang.

Thank you very much for that useful information that I myself didn't come to think of.

Hope that SCS will get the licence get approved in the near future, if they are interested for that matter.

It's just the same damn truck with a bigger engine. They only need to license the badge and stick an engine in it.

licensing is the prob. they have got the V8 engines in the game now. But if u look up certain truck brands online and see which models they make u will see not all of them r in the game. Like Volvo make a lot of models not in the game. They make several in the V class that r not in the game. they have the long noses not cabover.

Cabover's r shorter so more European road freindly but use more fuel. the long nosed 1 r more streamlined so use less fuel and they can fit bigger more powerful engines in them. but longer so harder to get round tight corners so mainly used in the USA with its bigger wider roads.

i have seen a few of the long nosed volvos in the UK but not many around due to having probs on cornering. saw a peterbuilt a few months ago all chromed up driving around the UK. even without a trailor it was having probs turning cause the cab was so long.
