Cabover's r shorter so more European road freindly but use more fuel. the long nosed 1 r more streamlined so use less fuel and they can fit bigger more powerful engines in them. but longer so harder to get round tight corners so mainly used in the USA with its bigger wider roads.
i have seen a few of the long nosed volvos in the UK but not many around due to having probs on cornering. saw a peterbuilt a few months ago all chromed up driving around the UK. even without a trailor it was having probs turning cause the cab was so long.
