External Contracts not working
it tells me to update the game but steam is not updating... help me fix this

You can't fix this - just wait til the update is done.

I have the same problem. External contracts aren't working. The game shows the message, "Unable to Connect to World of Trucks" I hope SCS software solves this issue soon.

The developers have uptdated the game to a new version and it seems that the issue with the servers is solved but the mod trucksimmaps is imcompatible with this new version

Yes, they changed map formatting so any map mod will need to be updated to work with the new game version.
