Unlock game cursor from window mode

Is there a way to unlock the game cursor from window mode so that I can actually reach the desktop? As it is now I'd have to quit the game if I want to access other applications. Using OBS is a no-go since I don't have an additional monitor.

Keep the volume mixer open. Then if you want to leave the game for a second, alt+tab to the Volume Mixer window and you're out. Same thing if you want to drag the ETS2 window. Alt+tab to Volume Mixer, then drag the top-bar of the ETS2 window where you want.

I regularly play in 1920x1080 and move the window to the top-right of the screen, play a YouTube video or livestream in a pop-up player extension in the bottom left, a popout chat window from Twitch if I am watching a livestream in the top-left. The lack of having the ability to unlock the cursor has not stopped me from customizing my desktop while playing the game.

I realize I forgot to mention I play on a Mac. I tried Alt+tab and nothing happened.

I'm so stupid. I can use the F3 to select other application windows. Problem solved.
