Doesn't appear in Virtual Desktop (Oculus Quest)
Followed "How to set up ETS2 in VR" and it does work, with Oculus Link.

Game is only playable from Oculus launcher. In SteamVR, it insists to run in Theatre Mode even if I've disabled it in launch properties. I tried both launch options (-openvr, -oculus), but makes no difference.

All my Oculus and SteamVR games does appear in the VD launcher, but not that one. Does anyone have an idea?

P.S. : "But it will drain battery like crazy!", point is not to be locked at my PC desk. With Virtual Desktop I can even play from a friend / family house through Internet using a bluetooth controller, and directly plug headset in the power outlet.

It is crazy stable (depending of the ISPs). Played Blade & Sorcery and No Man's Sky remotely.

Mmmm..... 5 months and no reply.
Did you ever get to the bottom of this?
Or has anyone else managed to get ETS2 (or ATS) to run in VR mode on the Quest (or in my case Quest 2) using Virtual Desktop?

No, I have not, but have not tried recently either. I think the fact that VR support is a BETA option might be what affect this.

So basically, for those who doesn't want to go through the video, launch option needs to be -openvr instead of -oculus so Virtual Desktop can see it.

Why hasn't Euro Truck Simulator 2 added native support for VR mode yet?
This is objectively the best way to immerse yourself in such games.

For example, right now on Oculus Quest 2 there is only a wireless connection via Virtual Desktop, I can play SteamVR games only in this way, and Euro Truck Simulator 2 bought only to play VR, but I can't do it.

After all, the game is still constantly updated, add full-fledged VR support!
This is important.

It works for me but I would really like to be able to use a touch controller as a mouse
