Emergency lights - when to use them
Ok, I don't know rl traffic rules well. But I'm certain that after cargo reaches a certain value I should turn them on (or some other lights?). Could somebody help me on this?

For over-size/over-weight cargoes you would use Beacon lights (default O key). The Emergency Flashers (default F key) are not for use while driving, rather, when manuevering or parked to indicate that you may be a hazard to the traffic around you.

Beacons with oversize and overweight loads, never use blinkers when driving.

Thank for claryfing guys. Just one more thing - which cargoes qualifies as oversize/overweight?

Anything that is larger than a normal trailer, as a general rule. And anything that's over 25t or so.

You can see a symbol of a balance weight on the right side in the job list (needs the heave cargo dlc I assume).

Doesn't require the DLC to see the symbol. That was added in the free update along with the 8x4 chassis and the Truck Analysis screen.

Generally you would use the beacons (orange flashing lights on the roof and at the end of the trailer) if you drive a heavy transport (that in real life needs a special permit and is only allowed to take a specific route). You would also use them if you are hauling an excavator or other wide loads, because such cargo has parts that stick out to the side (oversize) and are a danger to other traffic.

not that it makes any difference if beacon is on or off.
