Low Air Pressure
I keep getting a Low Airbrake Pressure message. It tells me to leave the engine on and wait for the pressure to build up but it goes on forever. In the meantime I can't start the truck. How do I resolve this?

It will take forever if you let the engine idle. Just rev it up to about 1500rpm and hold it there.

Leave the engine running until the low pressure warning sound stops beeping before you try to move off. I had the same issue a few days ago and left the game running for 10 minutes to allow the pressure to build back up. It feels like it takes forever when you are playing the game.

When trucks have low air pressure the brakes are locked on - it is a safety feature and is actually very true to real life.

To avoid the low air pressure, use a gearbox with retarder (eventually mark the auto retarder in the settings menu).
- I have just doing a heavy cargo transport from Luxemburg to Klagenfurt where I crossing the alps through lots of hairpin turns without have any problems.

A quick fix is just to disable the Air Simulation feature. Otherwise, just keep it rev'd up a little.

There are some parts on trucks that work on air pressure, like your suspension and brakes. Without air pressure your brake callipers are pushed onto the brake discs, the air is being used to seperate them. Like hackintoshchap said, it's a safety feature.
When you brake a couple of short times in a row, the pressure will drop below the required level.

And it's not the moment of braking that will make you lose air pressure, because when you brake you take the pressure off which will make your callipers grab onto your discs again. It's the moment you release the brakes that costs you air pressure, because that's the moment your callipers needs to be pushed off of your discs.

A retarder might help to reduce the amount of times you need to use the breakpedal, and just keep in mind when you're standing still don't keep pushing the brake pedal.

Also, you can go to the options menu (I believe the "Gameplay" section) there you can turn off the 'air pressure simulation' so you don't have this problem anymore.

Yes, and where it's needed holding the brake for longer time (avoid the truck rolls for stop signals and so on) use the handbrake.
