u can only turn of fatigue simulation so yr driver wont need to sleep at all.

The sleep times programmed are (possibly loosely) based on driver regulations in the regions in which ETS2 and ATS are based. You are allowed to drive for X hours then you must rest for Y hours. As I am not a driver in real life, I do not know if you can take a short rest and drive earlier or if you MUST rest for the designated amount of time before taking the wheel again.

there are manditory rest periods. only if you have a partner can you keep going. but basicly you are required to rest. and it changes depending on if you are handling the cargo or if you just drop the trailer and drive away. though there is a differanve between driving your own truck empty or have a trailer. no trailer means you an be off the clock so not on the logs if I remember right.

I had similar issues time and time again, especially on particularly long jobs until I found this gem in the workshop Sleep Less Work More Mod

No. But there is a workaround. If you turn off the fatigue simulation in the settings, you can decide for yourself when you want to drive and when you want to sleep. You can then use the console command "g_set_time" to advance the time during your rest breaks and to pretend that you are sleeping.

Yes, but you need to modify the economy_data.sii file. What this does is set how many minutes rest you have when tapping the "sleep" button at rest areas/garages/etc.
This only sets the global time, meaning you can't set it in-game.
I have mine changed to 14hrs drive and 8hrs sleep.
Don't worry about rules in different countries. It's a game. You can do what you want.

To answer that, it has to be a continued period of rest without "brake" in it.
At least here you have to have 10-12 hours (not sure about the number...but think it was 12) resting period before the next working day.....that counts for all jobs.

i think the sleep happens to quickly/too often i can just about manage one delivery before that dread counter comes up.i would like it to be more realistic (5 hours sleep in 1 day not every 1 delivery ---) imo it too Fast

Also maybe a compulsory Break every 4 hours for 45 mins - i think that the rule in the uk)

couldn't agree more, two short runs or one long and its a dash to drop before the sleep penalty kicks in, thats why i use the mod, 6 hours sleep for 18 hours driving, not overly realistic for us uk guys for sure but better than the games default for me anyway

Thier is plenty of rest stops all over so this should never be an issue, and also be sure to sleep before you start a job if the bed icon is mostly filled up blue.

Agree. I ALWAYS look at the time left on my "clock", the amount of time needed for the trip and when the delivery is due. If I can't deliver before the load is due when that is all considered, I don't take the job.
