Still no "hide virtual steering wheel" feature
A few month ago you guys announce a very needed feature to hide ingame steering wheel... but there is still no option in the settings to hide it.
Also there is no note how to use this feature with ingame developer console.

When will this feature finally added?

After all the work put into making the wheels look so real & you want to hide them.

Config.cfg in the profiles folder

uset r_steering_wheel "1"

That has been there for months.

Yes, because i already have a wheel in front of my face ;)

uset r_steering_wheel "0" dont work. Wheel is there and if i exit game setting isn't in config.cfg anymore

After enabling developer and console it works ;)

Tried editing the config file as shown and it's only partially hidden the wheel. The customisable parts of the wheel, i.e. the actual rim has disapeared, but the part behind the wheel with the indicator and light stalks remains visible. Any suggestions?

Using the console commands yields the same result

because the steering wheel animation is a separate model to the interior model. The interior model contains the steering column, stalks, etc.
The edit suggested by Nono54Fr simply disables the steering wheel animation, which is what you asked for.
