Special Transport "scort vehicle" bug

the front scort vehicle has stopped in fron of me, i tried repeat the Delivery many times, but always the bug happened... can anyone help me?

Can you drive around it?
It happened to me once and I got around it and then waited to see if it was going to move. It did not, I carried on to the delivery at a much faster speed as well and completed the drop.

You're too close to the escort car, you need to be further away from it at all times, the same distance it was when it started moving.
It is not a bug, it is something you need to learn to do, there are a lot of strange actions by the AI escorts, you have to take them into account doing the jobs.

Just leave more space between the escort car and your truck, when you stop and when you are driving behind it, they behave a bit crazy and you have to learn what they want you to do, but it is possible.

i tried many times, i keep distance from the front vehicle... i think i figured out what was going on there... i was driving in the right road before that turn left(i was on UK, so i supposed drive in left), i tried again driving on left road before turn left, and the bug didn't happened... thanks

Had same issue. It is independent of which side of the road you drive on.

While we were trying to leave the source city of package, two residential car stucked in a district and there was no way to leave without a "special" solution, the leading vehicle did not move (BUG). We could just stand there until the mission time expires.
The solution was to push down the first car with the cargo (only for 200-300 euro fine!), then park the trailer, go back for the escort (because they do not move if the trailer is not between them!), pick up the cargo with them and leave the city.

Other escort car related issue was when we were in front of a tunnel but the rear escort vehicle did not hold up the traffic for a safe passthrough, so the shipment did not fit, was hit by the wall of the tunnel, more than 20% damage. Signaling did not meant anything. It is a poor implementation of communication between the convoy drivers.

There may be some mod to help remove the accompanying vehicles, but this makes the original operation partially meaningless.

as far as i remember , i had that experience too before .. it happened when there is a changing line maneuver and i impatiently changing the line before the front escort vehicle do that(Which causes both the front and the back escort vehicles don't follow my truck and cause me pretty much fail the delivery lol)

ive just done a couple of special transport jobs and the convoy vehicles didnt move at all from the pickup point so was left to do it on my own, any ideas?

@Alex - temporary glitch, issue with mods or real bug? Which route were you? With or without your own truck? I can try to check it on my vanilla profile.
