Transport passengers by bus

I am a big fan of Euro Trucks and American Trucks and like to play with mods. There is a mod where you can ride buses. However, the mod is not compatible with the latest version. Now my question: Could you imagine creating a DLC in which you can transport passengers by bus? I think that would make the game more interesting.

Won't happen as this is a truck game and not a bus game. There are already some of these games out there.

You can just buy a trailer and pretend you're "transporting" people.

Or just buy Bus simulator 19.

No, I couldn't. Because this is a truck simulator. If I wanted to transport passengers, I'd play a bus simulator.

It's actually illegal to transport passengers in your trailer.

It's been a few years, but SCS has done a small teaser of a Coach Bus DLC for ETS2 at some point, but it's on the back burner still. If one were to dig into the files, there are a few mentions of bus stuff here and there.. The biggest indicator I believe is in the save file where there are some "bus_stop" indicators.

But that's about all that is known at this time.

It's a truck driving game Not a bus or car driving game.

I believe they're working on it to some extent. But of course they're working on the map first

The only difference between a bus and a truck is that buses carry passengers. There is no other difference between the two types of machines. Nearly every truck manufacturer in the game also makes buses. Or if they don't, some other company does that is legally licensed to use their logos and chassis to make them.

Buses would not be out of place in ETS2. It's in the works and that's all there is to it. You can not stop it.

I have the bus simulator, but it's not as fun as in ETS2. It would only enrich the game. And if it came out as a DLC, every player would have the choice to buy it or not. I therefore do not understand why some people are so upset about my proposal.

These arguments are ridiculous. There are modifications to the game where you can drive buses and cars. Several lets plays show that there are enough people who are very interested in such extensions. If some people here can't accept that, it's their problem and not mine. I'm not interested in your opinion. I also have no intention of triggering a discussion in this thread but just want to make a suggestion to the game's creator. For my next suggestion, however, I will write directly to the developer to avoid such discussions.

Anyway dont argue with them, just ignore them!
They were the ones who came to your post, nobody forced them here, and they know!
Play the game however you want, and wish for what ever you want!
After a great job there is nothng more fun then taking a trip in a Skoda with camping trailer on👍
Besides most people play this in singleplayer, so who gives a flying f about how others drive, what they drive or how they enjoy the game.

I used to use ArmA to build bus routes around the island, waiting at stops for the bus to pick me up and drive around to other stops for other passengers - pure sight-seeing. Loved it. Then i got helicopters (Chinooks) to pick me up and do the same. The difference is that ArmA# is a FP game and ETS2/ATS isn't.
