Why won't this game optimise
For me, in Geforce Experience?

Has anyone got it to work?

And preemptively, Just to save everyone a whole lot of time.
No i'm not interested in hearing about how i shouldn't be using it, how much it sucks, etc. Let's skip to the end. Ty.

I'm only interested in hearing from other Geforce Experience users, if any of them have gotten it to optimise. Period. Just yes or no.

Thanks!!

IT isnt up to a 3rd party software to optimize a game .. this game will eventually be done but only when the games fully upgraded to new standards .

How does it not optimize? Seemed to work fine for me last time I paid any attention to it, but maybe I'm missing something?

So is that 1 for no?

The game is on geforce, i just want it to optimise, like all the other 60 games i have that work with geforce. Or take it off geforce i guess? Or maybe its just me that's having the issue and it's on my end, thats what i'm trying to find out.
If we can find even one person that it works for, then it's on my end, and i'll work it out. Or if it's just broken, that's fine, weird, but fine, I just want to know.

when you push optimise, does it give you a little green check mark beside the game title.

or is it just a grey circle with a line through it.

When you optimise a game on geforce, any of the other 60 I have on there, it takes a second, and then all the settings change, and it gives a green check mark beside the game title, and it says "Optimised".
I can't get that to happen, and if no one can, then why is it on geforce experience. But i'm sure it's just me, i'm sure we will start to hear from all the people that can get it to work.

I see what you mean, but I think that Nvidia (to whom, I think, any concerns would best be addressed) has not for some time made great suggestions on how to "optimize" this game...I certainly would not go with their "optimization" even if it did apply itself

Right so it sounds like it's broken, i wasn't trying to blame anyone in particular.

I believe it should be removed form geforce, but I guess that's not an SCS issue or something, although don't they have any say if their game is on Geforce? I would've thought it was a 2 way street.

Anyway, Ty, I think we have our answer, it doesn't work and should be removed from Geforce. I'll tell Nvidia...

Yeah, I have the same problem, just ignore geforce experience, it's probably not recommended to use it with ETS 2, all the settings in which gets applied, you can do yourself in game settings.

I tried to use GeForce once to optimize ETS2 and ATS. Completely messed up Both games and left both of them a stuttery mess. Had to go back into each game and reset everything manually myself to make them playable again. I would never use GeForce again !!

And i AM going to say it: GeForce SUCKS !!! :steamsalty:

Optimisation for ETS2 and ATS have not been available for quite sometime on GeForce Experience, same goes for Elite Dangerous and a few others I have.
I am not sure who updates these settings, be it NVidia or the game maker or someone else.
With ETS2 and ATS if I remember correctly (cannot log in to GeForce Experience at the moment :steamsad:) GeForce Experience say it is to do with the MSAA settings, but I don't remember see that setting in ETS2, maybe it called something else in ETS2 now ?

Update:-
Now I can log in the setting it cannot change is "Anti-aliasing (MLAA)" it want to set it on but showing it as a "-", so not set or not supported !!!
