Unable to find g_developer in my config.cfg file

I am trying to turn on console in my game.I am trying to change the g_developer and g_console values present in C:\Users\asus\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\config.cfg file.But , I am unable to find the g_developer option.

Use search function in the text editor to find it. Normally it should be defined by default in config.cfg file. Actually there's two config.cfg files: one is global config stored under "My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder. The other is local config stored in every profile folders. Don't mix them up.

If you can't find "g_developer" in global config, just add or insert a new one:

uset g_developer "1"
