I can picture them in my head... but.. that doesnt really help you to see what I am thinking of... lol
Mod problems?
I had some thing...
... and now I don't...
... and have no idea WHY I no longer have it/them...
To correct myself...
What has vanished... is similar to "Chrome Marker Light #2"... not Marker Light #1...
Anybody able to help ?
STILL don't have my Lights...
Try a new, unmodded, vanilla profile and see if it runs perfectly, then add one mod at a time and test each one, until you find the one causing problems.
Mods are unsupported and used at your own risk. It is not the base game at fault.
(*sighs)
I did not say that the game WAS at fault, did I ?
I asked if anyone HAD any ideas about what they were, and where to find them...
And as for testing Mods one by one...
I have over 300 Mods, so I cannot go through them one by one.
What I really need is a catalogue of all the Mods, and which ones are the best or newest...
... so I can remove and delete the ones that don't work, or are replaced by newer ones.
And before someone says that all of the Mods on the Workshop ARE in Chronological order...
yes, I know they are...
But...
That does NOT mean that they work with, or have what the older Mods that do other things on my Truck/Trailer included in the newer versions.
This is WHY I have 300+ Mods, because I don't know what will work with the newer Mods, and what older ones to delete.
You're asking for someone else to give you the information that comes from going through your 300+ mods to save you from having to do so.
I didn't think so.
Nobody can say for certain that ANY mods will work with your game, we don't know what version you are running, we don't know your system, we don't know what the mods are and we don't know what order they are loaded, but you want us to work out an answer for you.
Perhaps having 300+ mods isn't such a good idea, after all.
I can copy and paste this all day in 90% of the questions on here:
Mods=problems
Lots of mods=lots of problems
'Nuff said.

...but in order for there to be a "catalogue" showing best/newest, someone would have to go through them all...

...Any better idea of what to do, other than start from scratch with NO mods and add them?
I didn't think so...
Mods=problems
Lots of mods=lots of problems
'Nuff said.
... that is exactly what I am going to have to do...
Last time i looked, there were 242 pages of Mods, at 50 per page...
... so... in the absence of anyone else being able or willing to help me...
... and for the Good of All Mankind...
... it seems to fall to me, to DO the catalogue, from oldest to newest...
Here goes... Wish me luck...
Am I drunk or can you only list workshop mods at 30 per page?
;p
Still, sorting the entire workshop is pointless. Just sort out what you have installed.
Yes, sorry, you are correct...
... it IS only 30... I thought it was 50 as I was typing it...
Yes, thinking about it.... it is my intent to only sort out what I have installed... but... with 300+ Mods all running, because I don't know what does what, and when I remove things that I think I don't want... I LOSE things like my aforementioned Lights because they were working as part of a Pack that I thought i didn't want... and now I cannot FIND the bloody things, to replace the pack... JUST to get my (guessing) IJ's Markers, and SCS Lights back.
(neither are where I thought they were, because I replaced every conceivable Pack/Set I thought they could be in, but AREN'T... so I STILL don't have my bloody lights !!)
;D
But nonetheless, whittle down your likely mod candidates and figure out what you my or may not have installed and why things you want to find may be missing.
In the mean time, celebrate 80's music while appreciating world gin day...
