How to turn off only driver earnings info on Trip advisor?
Hi, I've been addicted to ETS during this lockdown. Been a life-saver! Now I've completed the "game" part, i.e., I have all garages, hired every driver and have over a billion in the pot. I now don't need to care about money at all, which is nice.

So is there a way to disable the notifications of fines, tolls, driver earnings and level-ups? I have so many drivers now it's become a bit of an annoyance. I'd like to keep the GPS map and speed limit indications, the bar of info. I just don't want the scrolling green text.

It's probably an edit in the console or whatever. Can anyone advise? Thanks :)

Fire all your workers
- Or start a new profile where you give yourself some special tasks that you did not have in your first game, eg never borrow money in the bank, or if you played that way in your first profile, try to do it differently in your new profile.
There are plenty of opportunities to build a new company in a different way (with more challenges) than building your first company, just use your imagination.

Try playing with the trip advisor off. Most of the trucks have built in GPS, should be all you need

Thanks for the alternative suggestions. I really just want to turn off the driver earnings messages. If anyone knows how to do that, let me know, cheers :)

Excellent, that's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks for responding!

Will this update break the current RouteAdvisor mod, originally created by Hemil?

Might, but as it just "some info not shown" I doubt it.

Hi. I know you have a lot to work on and this 1.38 update was a big step forward. However, you don't seem to have implemented this running message config change yet. I know, it's not a massive thing; just a minor irritation.

I play using the front bumper cam with a Route Advisor mod to make the mirrors and GPS map bottom centre. I like the big view of the scenery. And there's just a little green text scrolling off to the right. I hope you can put this cvar value into the next little 1.38 tweak.

Cheers!

We are at 1.50.4.1s now and this function stillc annot be found. Not even the settings. :( Was it eventually added and removed too and I missed something or it wasn't implemented at all at the end?

I'd really need this to be turned off as for some reason with Hemil's mod the text is going through the center of the screen and also bugs out at the end, leaving a little green line after. :(

It is still there in your profile config or config_local file. NOT in the global config file.

I have found multiples of these uset g-adviser-running-message"1" and turned them to "0" i assume multiples as have had other profiles in the past which are no longer used, i've been in steam profiles, steam profiles bac (assume that's backup) and config yet i still get the running message across the screen with drivers earnings, i thought i was ok with it as had switched to a route adviser map and it just scrolled at the bottom of it so was not a problem but have gone back to my large route advisor with big numbers at the top of the screen that's not in a box and the driver earnings are running again across the screen. any ideas ? Thanks
