Left and Right Bumpers on Xbox One Controller Have Stopped Working
I use the bumpers for shift gears up and down (Sequential) and hold for left and right turn signals.

Did work fine and then just stopped. All the other button/triggers work fine as before, just not the bumpers.

Have tried more than one controller, and all work fine on other games, do have xinput enabled as disabling this wrecks everything else including desktop functionality.

In-game settings are set to keyboard only (as before when they worked fine).

Have tried re-binding the bumpers via the Steam UI with no success and also via the in-game settings where neither the bumpers or buttons register (presumably due to the xinput being enabled).

Not sure as to what to try next to resolve this issue.

Just to add that in the OP I said xinput, but meant Steam Input (for Xbox One Controller)

Still need a help with this if anyone can

Worked fine with me Steam Controller before it died, and worked fine with the Xbox One controller all this year until it didn't ?

For me I have it set to two controllers.... controller 1 is xinput and controller 2 is xbox 360. For some reason doing that has always fixed this issue for me.

Hey thanks for the input (no pun intended)

I messed up in the OP, don't use xinput at all, just the Steam (input) UI

When my Steam controller died I switched to an Xbox One Controller and re-configuered it via the Steam UI

Done well for me although miss the Steam Controller for this game TBH

Anyways, the update came out and everything worked the same

Shut down and the next time I've come to play it everything works except the bumpers ?

I do have a wireless adaptor for a 360 controller and a 360 controller but would have to dig them out lol

just don't understand why everything worked fine and now it doesn't ?

Ok, so ...

Prolly took the longer route around but have now fixed this

Tried a good few variations and as posted above, was unable to select Xinput and add a second controller (@ Xbox for Windows) without deselecting the Xbox controller in the Steam Controller settings (although did try this solution which did work to some degree), as previously posted this wrecks so many other game settings for me and renders the controller useless on desktop.

Thanks for the in-put and suggestion though.

In a nut shell, in the end I ended up junking my tried and trusted Xbox One Steam input settings. Re-imported the SCS Official template and then with some long winded measures edited it back to my original bindings and that has solved this issue for me.
