You can disabble detours by going in game settings and move the slider to the extreme left.
2, try to get through
3, teleport over it
Same here.
I like the idea of detours as a realistic part of the game, but unfortunately it just doesn't work very well in the game, which is why I disable detours.
- If you miss a motorway exit in the game, you can also easily risk a detour of several hundred km, which would not happen in reality.
As I see it, scaling is the reason that detours (and misdirections) sometimes cause unreasonably detours, because in the real world, there will be many more alternative ways to use to get back on track.
I use the 'Add New Avoid Location' at the spot of the blockage and the Route Advisor will calculate a new route after taking into consideration the detour. So far the new route adds minimal delay.
