ETS2 New unrealistic sounds (1.37)

Hey everyone what’s up, do you think that the new version of ETS2 got the worst sounds ever, it’s definitely unrealistic and the older versions were way too better in the engine and horn sounds. If you agree with me about the unrealistic sound and the horn sound then let’s drop our suggestions on SCS to fix the issue

The sound is much better now, for me. Just bought a new Renault T and I'm loving the sound.

Extremely fast transition, even more so with compressed scale. Don't envy the sound guys trying to get that right.

I too don't envy the sound guys but I feel just the opposite regarding the tunnel reverb...IRL the transition is almost instantaneous, and particularly after leaving a tunnel the SCS reverb lingers, which bothered me from the first time I heard it. It is even worse, and I have complained about this before, going under a bridge, which at speed should just sound as a blip like impulse, but instead lingers long after you are out from under the bridge. Again, no doubt tough to get right.

The reverberation effect can indeed be a bit exaggerated, for example if you are under a gas station it sounds rather spacious and hollow.

So had to swap engines to 500hp E6 and that one sounds very good

They are very aware and working on it. We had an announcement already and as of today the first action on it (most thought they wouldn't touch it until 1.38).

Reduce the Exhaust sound and increase the Engine sound in the Settings for V8. Idk but the Engine Sound from Scaniatrucks is too quiet and the Exhaust way too loud with 1.37 pls fix it.

I hope the sounds will be improved to be more realisitc, AS THEY WERE BEFORE UPDATE 1.37. Why would you make it worse than it was??

Fixed the issue now by buying the Realistic Engine Sound Pack from enginevoicerecords.com. Best investment since I originally bought ETS2! Actros MP4 already updated for 1.37, other trucks will follow.

The sounds are very different, and it feels quite odd when you first play with them. But by manipulating the many volume sliders you can get a balance, and you quickly get used to the new sounds. I felt a bit like you on first playing this version (and the same with the corresponding update on ATS), but now have no issue with the changed sounds.
Whether they are better/worse is a matter of debate - as I have never been in a truck cab yet alone driven one I don't have an opinion on this!

I here is decided to test and honestly say was strongest way disappointed.
After listening to all the sounds for each setting, including each separately, I concluded that the engine is like they sound new and then added,but it seems that especially with the sounds did not bother,because even the elementary sound of the engine on a particular truck is completely sentimental.
Next, the sound settings were even more striking,especially the sounds of the trailer, which do not exist at all, if you do not pay attention to the sound of lifting the supports.
Q: can't the SCS team fully record sounds from real trucks and a couple of trailers?

Let's face it, I play on the Scania S520 and in life I deal with it as well,that is, I work on it.I can reasonably say that the sounds of the interior, engine sounds, sounds of the air systems of the truck are not similar at least approximately to the original.I hope so more clearly explained.
