Gearbox switch Auto/sequential - FIXED
Im struggling to understand how this works, i have a switch for this, id like to have it so i can either chose manuel gear change or sequential box with the flick of a switch, but i cant seem to get it to work,
Can someone explain how this is supposed to work, what gearbox setting should i use ?

I've also tried to assign a key to switch between automatic and sequential transmission, but it didn't work yet.

The switch is to go between Automatic and Sequential. I don't think there's a switch to go between Manual (with a shifter) and Sequential.

Even with the seq box selected, when i press the button to switch to auto nothing happens, im just stuck in neutral, or it might be auto im selecting, sequential should be that i still have to shift gears but without needing a clutch (forward and backwards with my shifter)

Sorted it, for some reason my manual shift up and down was set to my indicators ??? lol, but got it working as intended

Shame though i cant go from H pattern to sequential...

You can't go from H pattern (manual) to Sequntial (automated) because that doesn't exist. There are three types of transmissions used in trucks, manual, automatic, and automated. Manual of course requires the driver to change gears and involves a clutch pedal. Automatic of course changes gears for the driver, typically using hydraulic pressure and there is no clutch pedal. The driver may have some input to force a gear change. The final type is automated or more accurately, automated manual. In the last type, gears are changed with electromechanical servos. As with automatic, the driver puts it into Drive and the computer/transmission does the shifting. The transmission can be put into 'manual mode' allowing the driver to select gear changes (still without clutch). This situation is what Sequential is replicating.

There is also a forth type, from Volvo, pre selected when you change gear manually, but the gear wont engage untill the clutch pedal is pressed

But i sorted the problem out, it was the Sequential gear change was set to my indicators as standard, for some strange reason lol

I think the sequential switch button mapping was default, but you changed you indicator mapping.
