Fast travel to city with better jobs?
Is there a way to travel quickly to a town so that you don't have to drive from freaking sweden to brussel to get a offer?

In the vanilla game without any form of modding, the only way to create quick travel points is by purchasing garages. You can quick travel to your owned garages at any time, from any where.

You can only travel to towns that have a garage and you have purchased that garage which means you have to have been to the town before to discover it and purchase the garage.

Have in mind, that fast travel is fast (in terms of real time), but it consume time! So, if you have 1h till your job will expire, you won't made it even with fast travel!

You can actually travel instantly, but it takes more steps. First, you have to relocate yourself as a driver to the garage you want teleport to, next you have to relocate your truck to you.

you can turn on your console, and use command goto [cityname] as well.

Of course it is! But who cares? It's a single player game and you can do as you like. :)

Personally, I don't take a job like that, I just choose from what's available in the city where I'm located at the time. No heavy job? Maybe I get one next time. :)

I'm just showing you an option. You can also download Virtual Speditor program, and do not worry about missing job anymore... How are you feeling about 'cheating' this way... It's your choice after all.

I don't care about the cheat.
I am also starting to feel disappointed about the game.
I know the belgian and dutch highways and it's not like it in real life.

That is the oldest part of the map. Try Scandinavia or France, that's much better and more fun.

I've played almost 1000h in this game. It does not look like real life, and it won't - never. But it is fun anyway :) It is relaxing for me, as I love driving cars - it relax me.
You can always try some map mods, like ProMods, and have much more better environment, motorways and cities...

I felt the same about my area when I played without any mods. But on the one hand - the map is scaled, so it can't show everything as there's just not enough space. And on the other hand the game is fun anyway for me and I still enjoyed. Then I got ProMods and everything changed as the layout of the motorways and signs drastically improved + a lot more other stuff making the game's look and feel far more realistic.
I will get the promod than and i will test my new france expansion. I also got the scandivia are there any others.
