Steering axis messed up, please help?
I might've already posted this, but still nothin.
Okay, so, I've been using a Logitech Driving Force wheel for my 60 hours, and then I ordered a new wheel with pedals to use. (whata twist, they don't work for some reason) and then it messed something up in ETS2.

--Actual Problem--
So I can't use my regular wheel either without encountering this problem. If I go too far left, like an inch or two, it snaps all the way left. Too far right, and it goes all the way right, like I'm using a keyboard to play or something, no settings work (atleast that I've found) and I can't find anyone else with this problem. So I have just a teeny tiny cone to "steer" in, any farther than that, and it's gung-ho all the way in that direction.

Does anyone have a solution? Should I just delete it and reinstall?

Maybe its your steering axis deadzone or your steering sensetivity settings that messes it up.

sounds like a calibration error..does it work well in the windows utility to set it up?
and yes, a total remove and reinstall might help.

before you reinstall the game just go to your documents folder / Euro Truck Simulator 2 / profiles / #id and delete controls.sii
then setup your wheel again

To clearify, when it snaps left or right do you mean the in-game wheel or the Logitech?
If it’s in-game wheel, then it might help to have the Logitech profiler running in the background.

ehm i didnt mean a reinstall of the game but of the wheelsoftware.
if the game validates ok, then thats ok.

Try what super mario said, that should fix it.

You need to set your wheel to the proper degrees of rotation. I forget what it is.. I think 900? But by default it's 360 or something. At least it was with my Logitech. You change that in the Logitech software.

By default, my G29 is set to 900. I am not sure if i am in correct tread. But, at least help me with this "over steering" issue.

If it's not the 900 degrees setting, I'm sorry, I have no idea :(
