Just tried it. Moved all the sliders to almost zero and went into game. As soon as I turn the engine on, the wheel snaps to the middle and becomes stiff and impossible to move.
Windows 10, yes LGS 5.10.127, force feedback driver is available (WmJoyFrc.dll)
Turn off your computer
Unplug the wheel from USB
Unplug the power supply for the wheel from the wall
Plug the power supply back in
Start the computer
Plug the wheel back into USB
How stiff is the wheel (should be very stiff)
Start ETS2
Did that relax the wheel? If so you just have some software adjustments to make
Ok just did all of that. Starting up the computer, it went through the usual startup, doing a full rotation of the wheel. And yes, it is very stiff. Starting up ETS2 made no difference though. The same stiffness.
1. Open the Profiler
2. Click Device>Game Controllers
3. Click Properties (select the G27 first if you have multiple controllers shown here)
-note: this (the Test page) is where the wheel should 'loosen up' completely
4. Do a manual calibration; rotate the wheel lock to lock, fully press each pedal
5. Close the properties and profiler.
6. Start game.
If I turn off the computer with wheel connected, it does loosen up.

Going in to the test page where you can view all the buttons etc, the wheel becomes the same stiffness. The only way I can get it to loosen up from here is by going into force feedback settings and turning centering spring to 0%.
I can get it to work relatively well if i set centering spring to about 30%, then disabling force feedback in-game. But, as soon as I turn on the in-game force feedback, it's like it overrides all profiler settings and sets the centering spring back to 100%.
Ok well I'll see how it goes at hope for the best. Fingers crossed it holds up.
