front air deflectors on Trucks
I googled but found nothing.
Do you know more about the air deflectors on a truck which are mounted below the wind shield on either side of the truck.
They are pretty small compared to the whole area of the sides and what does deflecting air around the corners do anyway? what's the benefit of this devices?

As far as I know they are supposed to change the airflow so that your doorhandles stay clean.

Now i am no truck owner but logic tells me those are for air, to be exact tunneled air, likely for an turbo or something. Those scoops goggble the air it narrows and by that goes faster into the engine. More air bigger boom bigger boom more moving :)

Aerodynamics. It's about controlling where and how the air is deflected around the truck. For fleet truck designs, when 1/3 of operating cost is fuel and these can save 2-3%, that translates to huge fuel savings over the course of a year.

I thought they were for directing air to the front brakes for cooling?

Funny thing is that the scania 4 series, r1 and r2(non streamline) has them and the r2 streamline not.

Maybe " Streamline " actually mean that, it doesn't need addons and accessories to that effect.
