World of Trucks Editors picks

im on the world of trucks website and was looking at the gallery of all the screenshots taken by different players....i then looked at the editor picks and some of the normal pics are every bit as good as some of the editor picks...how do they pick these specific ones..is it to do with view numbers or something

I would like to use logic when it comes to hypothesizing how when why and what are picked . First thing i would think of is Accuracy of the Base game . Ie No modifications etc .Just a guess

i dunno is it that..ive seen editors picks i think with mods

I have seen mods in the Editors' Pick photos, as well.

THey just seem to randomly pick a screenie.

But what really bugs me is; Why the hell does the game loading screens still show images from WoT that are out of date? There are thousands of pics, but were stuck with the same 8 or 9.

Very long time ago, I saw a screenshot with a deer between the trees close to the road.
Since I never have seen deers myself in the game, I guess that have been from a Promods map?
I also somewhere very long time ago have seen a plane parked in a city, also a Promods map thing I guess?

Furthermore I'm nearly sure I also over time have seen other screenshots with mod items.

While the present delivery event was happening, one editor's pick was a Christmas trailer. Just that, and not even from a fancy angle or anything. Got tons of comments.

What I see in both games is, the intro features truck screens from World of Trucks. They aren't sold as, "World of Trucks." You see the title of the game and all through it, everything else is WoTs,as it is with the screenshots. Even in ATS,the same screenshots. European designed trucks in most all the cut scenes. Not complaining,it's just an observation. Kind of misleading.

This www.worldoftrucks.com/en/full_image/000000000041F663 is one of the latest so called editor's picks. C'mon, when THIS is something special, and a real editor decided to pick it, then I'm the Queen of England. This bland screenshot is soo... then I really don't want an editor to also pick one of my screenshots. My ETF event shots are head and shoulders better. What baffles me yet more is why so many people liked and even faved it. Must be the flock-of-birds phenomenon. An editor picks it and every sheep thinks it must follow his/her/their/its (did I forget anybody?) lead and like it too. It rather looks like a program randomly picks the pics and not a human of sound mind.

totally agree...it looks like something from 2012 ets2 the graphics in it and coarseness of it...

The opposite is true. As soon as an image gets picked as EP, tons of people will view it (because it is featured for several days on the first gallery page) and lots of people will write comments in the hope that the viewers visit their profile (and gallery) as well.

I have noticed theres one guy which is almost every time on Editors Pick. He is called "Dreamcatcher", or rather on a new account now "Traumfanger" and he get an EP almost every time for just a random normal picture. And there are way more better pictures then his!
I have no problem when someone gets an EP for a "normal" picture. But that guy got like 30 over the past year on his old now deleted account, and 3 on his, idk, maybe 2 months old account.
I'm calling hax! Or maybe he is the EP picker himself and just picks his own pictures just to be proud

Never seen any of mine there and I've owned the game since 2013. Yet, I've seen many that are repeats of multiple screenshots of the same truck just, different angles. I quit worrying abut it if, 'worrying' is the word for it? I really don't care anymore, to tell ya the truth. Co-workers, family & friends always come first, in things like this.

It's quite simple really. They hit random a few times, and select their favourite images.

Shockingly complex ain't it.
