I'd like to buy a a good and cheap graphics card for playing ETS2
Hello people I recently bought the ETS2 DVD and I am playing it at the minimum display options in my PC; runs well, but I'd like to buy a good and cheap graphics card, I've seen here that people recommend the GeForce GTX 760-class 2GB, but I have investigated that this one is very old.

I'd like you to recommend me another graphics card like this one, but a recent one or Equivalent to GTX 760-class 2GB (2018-2019) from any brand ASUS, NVIDIA, RADEON etc

My PC Specs are:

Motherboard: ASRock H61M-DGS R2.0 (made in 2011) but running well no problems
DualCore Intel Pentium G2030, 3.0 MHz (30 x 100)
8GB RAM and max. Supported: 16GB PCi Express DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333 SDRAM supported
Socket LGA1155
Windows 10 64 bits English Latest Version updated 2019
14" AOC Monitor 1440 x 900 max Screen Resolution
Built-in graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family 1792MB Max. shared memory 1760MB
2 Hard Drives Disks.. Seagate BarraCuda Internal Hard Drive 2TB SATA 7.200RPM both disks

i am running on ultra graphics on a GT440 so anything above that will do fine.

First of all, your hardware is old so buying a new fancy graphics card will not help. The reason for that is that it has to work with your motherboard first of all. I have been in that situation when i bought a new card and my motherboard then couldn't use that card...
So check first of all that the card is compatible with your motherboard.
Your CPU is also very old. So even if you get a great gpu that works with your motherboard your cpu still will be a bottleneck...
So, be careful what you get :)

i use gtx660 game running pretty well i dont like to run any game on max settings to have better performance,,ita like car they can go 400 but u never drive that fast...
Used to play this game on the GTX 760 at end of 2014 and it ran the game fine, but my rig at that point in time was a i7 3300K etc.

Your rig is pretty ancient, no offence hehe.

But sure, upgrade to a 760, it can play the game very well.

Get what your budget will allow, anything above a 760 will be way batter than on-chip graphics,.
your cpu is garbage . upgrade that before you do the gpu . add an SSD

I have an i3 3.0GHz dual-core (granted, it's a bit more efficient than a Pentium), and it actually does just fine with ETS2 - it's not a very CPU-intensive game. With OP's setup, the GPU is definitely the current bottleneck.

I'm using a GTX 1050 Ti, and I have the game maxed out at 4k resolution. I'm probably averaging about 45-50 fps with those settings.

You really want to be looking around the GTX 1050 as a minimum really, older cards like the 750Ti will do the job, but older cards can be hard to find at a reasonable price range.

It's generally worth paying a little extra for a brand new one. Also as these games move forward you might find older hardware will struggle more. It might be worth thinking long term, would it be better to put the money aside and save up for a whole new PC?
I have received many supported replies.. so i have to thanks to all my good friends.... thank you very much

It is totally true, my motherboard is an ancient one and a very old stuff i know nobody offended me.. but i don’t have enough budget to purchase a new motherboard or a recent one.. so, i will stay with it.. so my budget allows for purchasing any graphics card under $.350 bucks!! My motherboards supports ddr3 only and i saw that the most recent graphics cards come to ddr5 or ddr4 i dont know it is compatible or not with my motherboard..!!

I understand that when u say 760 it refers to the Geforce GTX 760-class graphics card..!! Isn’t it ???

So in the end... what’d be the best graphics card for my Motherboard AsRock H61M-DGS R2.0?

Thanks..
