Why no box trucks?
Wht are there any box trucks in the game? Here in Sweden these https://imgur.com/a/JeyfKWt are more common than semi's.
I would really like to have them in the game.

Remove the ( ) from the link. Steam doesn't like that.

Box trucks, or Rigids, are on the to-do list. The engine doesn't support it. It's getting closer thanks to cargo market though. It is something they want to add, it's just a matter of it getting implemented.

But you can't actually use the box to deliver good can you?

You drove the box truck like your own normal truck in-game. Then you would hitch-up to box trailers which would deliver the cargo/goods

That's what i thought, i think it would be really cool now with the cargo market to just use the truck or truck and trailer

I know exactly what you mean. This would be my dream in ETS2 Load and unload...

No, in ETS2, but not now (only for singleplayer, using mods).

I would love to have rigid trucks in game too. I've tried a mod and with the trailer attached it behaved and was as annoying to reverse as the real thing.
It would be awesome to have these trucks without it being a mod.
And not to mention it would be a very nice way to practice reversing with the damn trailer.
I tell you, those trailers in real life are very annoying to reverse with. Especially around corners! :steamsad:
Unfortunately I didn't get my truck driver's licence CE, because of the theory exam. Driving the rigid truck with a trailer isn't that difficult in my opinion.
The truck alone would be good practice when you're getting your licence. :104:

Ya that's one of the reasons why i want it in the game, i'm currently studying to get my CE licence so it would be good practice

Then there's no problem. Just install one of these mods for example and practice driving with a full truck/trailer combination as much as you wish in singleplayer:

I said one of the reasons, not THE reason. I still want it for gameplay reasons too

As Reese said its on scs to do list, in interviews it has come a couple of times over the years. But its not just game limitation issues at play (those limitations are being removed and improved constantly) its also licensing, for every manufacturer they need a license agreement in place and that can take....... well a long time lol and not because of scs. These truck manufacturers are picky hence no dirt or damage on models.

All we can do is be patient and in the meantime use mods :)

Dirt, no. Damage, yes. They don't care about dirt, but damage is a no-no.
